HCL Executive Age Limit and Experience Required

The maximum age limit and post-qualification experience vary by grade. For E2 (Deputy Manager), the maximum age is 40 years and a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience is required. For E3 (Manager), the maximum age is 42 years and 6 years of experience are required. For E4 (Senior Manager), the maximum age is 47 years and 9 years of experience are required.

For the Medical and Health Services cadre, the age limits are slightly different. E3 grade M&HS candidates can be up to 44 years old, while E4 grade M&HS candidates can be up to 48 years old, with experience requirements varying by qualification type.

Candidates from PSU/Government organizations must have completed at least two years of service in the immediate below scale of pay as on the reckoning date.

Experience acquired through training, consultancy, teaching, fellowship, internship, apprenticeship, or academic projects will not be counted towards the eligibility requirement.

Age Relaxation

SC/ST candidates receive 5 years of age relaxation. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get 3 years. PwBD candidates under General/EWS category receive 10 years of relaxation, PwBD under OBC (NCL) receive 13 years, and PwBD under SC/ST receive 15 years. Ex-Servicemen are entitled to 5 years of relaxation.


Pay Scale and Salary Details

Hindustan Copper Limited follows the IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance) pay structure. The pay scales and approximate monthly gross salaries are as follows. For E2 (Deputy Manager), the pay scale is Rs. 50,000–1,60,000 with a monthly gross salary of approximately Rs. 93,400/-. For E3 (Manager), the pay scale is Rs. 60,000–1,80,000 with a monthly gross of approximately Rs. 1,12,080/-. For E4 (Senior Manager), the pay scale is Rs. 70,000–2,00,000 with a monthly gross of approximately Rs. 1,30,760/-.

In addition to the basic pay and IDA, selected candidates are entitled to Perks and Allowances, Underground (UG) Allowance, Non-Practising Allowance (for Medical cadre), NPS Employer Contribution, Employer PF Contribution, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Gratuity, Medical Benefits, and Leave Encashment as per company rules. Cost to Company (CTC)

For Senior Manager (E4) in a Mining area, the approximate CTC ranges from Rs. 24.64 lakhs to Rs. 68.74 lakhs per annum. In Non-Mining areas, the range is Rs. 23.23 lakhs to Rs. 64.37 lakhs. For Manager (E3) in Mining areas, the CTC ranges from Rs. 21.20 lakhs to Rs. 61.90 lakhs. For Deputy Manager (E2) in Mining areas, the CTC is between Rs. 17.76 lakhs and Rs. 55.07 lakhs per annum.


HCL Executive Selection Process

The selection for HCL Executive Recruitment 2026 is based entirely on Personal Interview (PI), which carries 100% weightage. There is no written test.

Candidates will be called for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:5, meaning five candidates will be shortlisted for each vacancy. If only a single vacancy exists for a post, 10 candidates will be shortlisted.

If the number of applicants exceeds the zone of consideration, shortlisting will be done based on extra years of experience beyond the minimum requirement (1 mark per completed additional year), additional relevant higher qualifications (1 mark each, up to 2 marks maximum), and in case of a tie, the candidate from an organization with higher turnover will be ranked higher.


Service Agreement Bond
