How to Apply for CSIR CRRI Research Intern 2026
This is a Walk-in-Interview process. There is no online application. Candidates must follow the steps below:
- Download the Application Form (Annexure-I) from the official CSIR-CRRI website https://www.crridom.gov.in.
- Fill the Application Form completely with all required details.
- Bring the duly filled Application Form to the Walk-in-Interview venue on the scheduled date and time.
- Candidates must bring all original documents for verification, including Educational Documents (10th, 12th, B.E./B.Tech, etc.) and a valid Identity Proof such as Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Passport, or Aadhaar Card.
- Self-attested copies of all documents must be attached with the application form.
- SC/ST/OBC/PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority must be brought (if applicable).
CSIR CRRI Research Intern Stipend 2026
The selected Research Interns will receive a consolidated monthly stipend. No other allowance shall be payable.
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 24,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Other Allowances: NIL – No other allowance shall be payable to the Interns
CSIR CRRI Research Intern – Job Details & Terms
- The internship shall be tenable for a maximum period of two years from the date of joining and is not extendable under any circumstances.
- The intern's continuation in the scheme will be reviewed every six months. If performance is not satisfactory, the internship may be terminated with one month's notice or one month's stipend in lieu thereof, without assigning any reason.
- The interns shall have no claim for further extension, absorption, or regularization in CRRI/CSIR after the expiry or termination of the internship.
- Selected interns will be required to assist scientists in various assignments in the field of R&D related areas of the Institute.
- Selected candidates will not be allowed to discontinue their engagement without seeking prior approval of the Director, CSIR-CRRI, New Delhi.
- In case a candidate wishes to discontinue before completion of tenure, they must submit one month's prior notice with specific reasons, or deposit one month's stipend in lieu of the notice period.
- Selected candidates cannot be posted in any other CSIR lab or institute; they will work only at CSIR-CRRI, New Delhi.
- In case of a large number of candidates turning up, candidates will be shortlisted for interview as per criteria fixed by the Selection Committee. The final decision to allow a candidate to appear for interview rests with the Director, CSIR-CRRI.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
