Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has announced recruitment for the post of Junior Technician Trainee (Survey) – JTT(Survey) through Advertisement No. CC/01/2026. Candidates with a full-time two-year ITI (Surveyor) qualification are eligible to apply. Selected candidates will receive a structured salary, a range of allowances, and job security within one of India's largest transmission utilities. The annual CTC after regularization is approximately Rs. 10.9 Lakhs.


PGCIL JTT (Survey) Salary During Training

Selected JTT (Survey) candidates are placed on a one-year training program before they are confirmed as regular employees. During the training period, the following compensation is provided:

PGCIL JTT (Survey) In-Hand Salary 2026

The monthly in-hand salary for a Junior Technician (W3 level) after regularization is estimated at approximately Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000 per month, depending on the place of posting, current IDA rate, and HRA category. This is calculated after adding all applicable allowances to the basic pay and deducting PF contributions, professional tax, and other standard deductions.
