AMC Sahayak Fireman Salary 2026
Selected candidates will initially receive a fixed pay of Rs. 26,000/- per month for three years. After three years, based on performance evaluation, they will be placed in Level-2 of the Pay Matrix with a basic pay range of Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/-, along with other allowances as per the rules.

AMC Sahayak Fireman Eligibility Criteria 2026

Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years (excluding those already in AMC service)
- Candidates serving in the AMC Auxiliary Task Force (Volunteer List) on honorary pay will get age relaxation equal to the number of satisfactory years of service rendered (Chief Fire Officer's certificate required).
- Reserved category candidates (SC, ST, SEBC, EWS) get 5 years of age relaxation in upper age limit.
- Divyangjan (PwD) candidates get 10 years of age relaxation.
- In no case should the age of any candidate exceed 45 years after all relaxations.

AMC Sahayak Fireman Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2026
The Physical Efficiency Test consists of four events. Candidates must clear the minimum qualifying standard in each event. They must also score a minimum of 40% (160 marks out of 400) in aggregate across all four events.

AMC Sahayak Fireman Selection Process 2026
The selection process will be conducted in the following stages:
- Physical Standard Verification – Candidates will first be checked for height, weight, and chest measurements as specified.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Candidates who clear the physical standard check will appear for the four physical events (Long Jump, High Jump, 800m Run, 200m Swimming).
- Merit List Preparation – Candidates who pass all four PET events will have their marks added (PET marks + Educational Qualification marks) and a combined merit list will be prepared.
- Written / Online Examination – Depending on the number of applicants, the Municipal Commissioner may decide to conduct a written or online examination via a reputed agency. The Municipal Commissioner's decision in this regard will be final.
- Document Verification – Original certificates and documents will be verified at this stage.
- Medical Examination – A medical fitness examination will be conducted before appointment.
- Training – Selected candidates will have to undergo six months of training as decided by the Municipal Commissioner and must pass the training examination.
